Steel Knight Performance sells aftermarket street performance parts in Chicago, and runs the mod shop that installs and tunes them. Old Man's Carbon is its carbon fibre division. Most of this page is not about what we sell — it is about what this store will not say.
DIVISION 01 · STREET
The street division the company is named for, and the shop that fits parts to the car. We are currently expanding our supplier network and will be adding performance parts from leading manufacturers soon. Contact us for availability and special-order requests.
DIVISION 02 · CARBON
The carbon fibre division inside Steel Knight — a house in this one, not a partner and not a second company. It keeps its own gold and its own quieter type; it does not get its own storefront, its own cart, or its own account.
Every part resolves to one of three answers for your saved car: verified fit, known incompatible, or not verified. Fitment is never guessed and never inferred from a near match. Not verified means it has not been checked — it does not mean it fits, and the page says so plainly instead of dressing it up as a maybe.
Every carbon piece is cut to order for one client, so what we publish is its own mass, weighed here, stated as nominal — never a figure derived from someone else's part. Where we have not weighed it, the page says so instead of estimating. That rule lives in the code, not with whoever writes the page.
One website, one cart, one checkout, one account across all of it. Prices are USD; the region is the United States. Free freight on orders of $999 or more, $40 flat below that. Checkout hands off to Stripe's hosted page, so card details never touch this site.
Installation and tuning are booked by inquiry. You ask, we answer, and the work is not paid for online. No labour goes in the cart.
What is listed right now is a demo catalogue, pending real product data — and the site discloses that on its own pages rather than waiting to be caught. A disclosed placeholder is worth more than a confident fake. Same standard everywhere else: numbers or nothing.
