The Mishimoto Essentials Bundle includes high-quality upgraded cooling components to replace items we've found to be the most failure-prone. For the 1979-1985 Ford Mustang V8 we've bundled together our aluminum radiator replacement radiator hose kit racing thermostat and aluminum fan shroud.As the stand-out component our aluminum radiator features full aluminum construction with durable TIG-welded end tanks. In addition this radiator features increased cooling capacity which directly results in improved cooling efficiency. This unit is manufactured with an internal liquid-to-liquid automatic transmission cooler which uses engine coolant to regulate transmission fluid temperatures. To supplement our robust radiator we've included our incredibly durable replacement radiator hose kit. Our replacement radiator hose kit is constructed from high-grade EPDM rubber making it resistant to long term degradation. Within this bundle we've included two items aimed at maintaining appropriate fluid temperatures. First we've included our Ford Mustang Racing Thermostat. The Mishimoto thermostat has a lower activation temperature (154.4F) compared to the factory thermostat (190.4F). The lower activation temperature allows coolant to flow through the engine earlier reducing the risk of overheating in hot environments. Rounding out the Essentials Bundle is our Performance Aluminum Fan Shroud Kit. This fan shroud features two 12-in high-flow electric fans providing optimal airflow during idle conditions.
