The GTI has a long pedigreed history in the realm of hot-hatchbacks especially when it comes to models powered with 4-cylinder turbo engines. The stock piping in Volkswagen's star player however doesn't quite live up to the hype. Full of bends restrictive diameters and constructed from degradation-prone materials the stock charge pipes are a restriction for your MK8 especially when cranking up the boost. ---- These pipes feature a robust mandrel-bent aluminum construction and 5-layer heat-resistant silicone couplers to ensure a sturdy and long-lasting connection to and from the intercooler. The 30.9% increase in airflow is thanks to a reduced amount of restrictive bends and an increase of piping diameter to 2.75 meaning your turbo can breathe easier than ever. ---- The Mishimoto MK8 Intercooler Pipe Kit is available in a polished or wrinkle black finish to suit the style of your MK8.
