Automakers don't always choose the most performance-friendly spot for a license plate and the 2023+ Honda Civic Type R is no exception. The factory placement interrupts the clean front-end styling and can restrict airflow to the intercooler and radiator. Mishimoto's License Plate Relocation Kit repositions the plate to a better location helping to maintain unimpeded airflow and preserve the aggressive look of the Type R's front fascia. -- Constructed from durable 3mm-thick aluminum the bracket provides excellent strength and stability while keeping weight to a minimum. A black powder-coated finish adds a layer of corrosion resistance and blends seamlessly with the Civic's styling. The kit comes complete with stainless-steel hardware and a Mishimoto license plate frame for a polished professional installation.
