The 2024+ Toyota Tacoma does not ship with rear recovery points from the factory - the rear of the vehicle has no dedicated anchor for vehicle extraction. The Mishimoto Rear Recovery Points add that capability: forged alloy steel hooks with a rated Working Load Limit of 18 500 lbs each engineered for the full range of modern recovery hardware from d-ring shackles to soft shackle rigging.----Forging aligns the grain structure of the alloy steel delivering tensile strength that resists bending and cracking under dynamic recovery loads where cast or stamped hooks give way. Each hook is finished with a two-stage corrosion system: an electrogalvanized base layer seals the forged steel before a powder coat topcoat is applied blocking moisture and salt at the base metal where surface-only finishes fail over time. Bolt heads are recessed flush within the mount profile eliminating the hardware exposure that shears against rocks ledges and brush on the trail. Every fastener is black dacromet-coated - the same protection level as the hook body - preventing rust migration and seizing at the mounting interface.----The hardware kit includes the washers required to reinstall the factory OEM drop-down step so you don't have to choose between a rear recovery point and the step you rely on for cab access. Available in powder coat black or red. Direct fit for the 2024+ Toyota Tacoma with no drilling cutting or modification required.----For complete front and rear recovery capability pair with the Mishimoto Front Recovery Points (MMTH-TAC-24-F) rated at 17 000 lbs WLL each and built with the same forged alloy steel construction for the front bumper mounting location.
