About this part
The factory thermostat on the 2022+ Toyota Tundra 3.4L V6 opens at 82°C calibrated for OE cost and emissions targets rather than sustained load. The Mishimoto Performance Thermostat is available in two activation temperatures: the 22E opens at the same 82°C as stock and the 22L opens 4°C lower at 78°C adding thermal margin for towing stop-and-go traffic or hard driving.----Choose the 22E to keep your factory-calibrated coolant target with a direct Mishimoto replacement or the 22L to run cooler across the board without any tuning changes.----Install is plug-and-play with no modification required.
